The API Processing Lead will be responsible for the production of API product material. The Technical Leader will lead and facilitate the API manufacturing team's operations. The API Technical Lead will hold a Degree, Masters or PhD in Life Sciences or Process / Chemical Engineering. They will: Have extensive knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements related to pharmaceuticals. Have a minimum od 5 years' experience in batch processing, automation, commissioning and validation in FDA/HPRA regulated industry. Supervisory experience in process engineering, formulations and technical transfer. Experience with new product introduction and be able to lead and project manage. Supply chain and project schedule delivery. Key responsibilities: Team leadership to pharmaceutical and shift technicians. Executing and supervising API pharmaceutical processing activities. Work planning, task allocation and goal setting. Verification and update of manufacturing control system transactions. Liaise with Supply chain & program management group to ensure effective planning, scheduling and execution of commercial and NPI clinical manufacturing. Drive operational excellence and key operations targets. Adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies. Ensure manufacturing compliance with all safety, environmental and quality related SOPs. Assist in the identification, implementation and execution of key API and Site Strategies.
