Systems Administrator - Sligo. PE Global requires a Systems Administrator for one of our client sites in Sligo. This position will be until the end of the year initially. Manage and maintain the network infrastructure. Comply with IT road map. Comply with corporate QA/IT and EHS & E policies. Manage relevant project budgets and instill a culture of CI across the IT department. Liaise with IT Contractors/Consultants and ensure compliance with contractor management site polices. Support of manufacturing and laboratory desktop and server applications. Training of employees on relevant applications. Validation / Qualification of hardware and software as required in. Implements all relevant IT policies. Will be responsible for Data backup and administration / maintenance of the plant systems and infrastructure. Maintenance of servers, PC’s and VM Ware environments. Installation of network attached equipment. Installation and Operational qualification of network attached equipment. Participation in cross functional teams and initiatives across the site. Adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies. Education / Experience. Degree or equivalent. Experience working directly as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer or Network Administrator would be preferred. One or more of the below would be desirable.
