Hotel Operations Manager. Our client is looking to recruit a Hotel Operations Manager for their award winning 4* Hotel in Co. Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to running and maintaining the quality and efficiency of the Hotel. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations and report to the General Manager. Supervision of staff including human resources, ensuring that staff requirements are consistently met. Interact with customers effectively to ensure satisfaction. Effective and efficient running of the Hotel. Manage operations for events, e.g. weddings. Have a visible presence within the hotel ensuring that all customer needs are consistently met. Ensure all relevant Fire, Health & Safety & HACCP training is carried out along with any other statutory requirements that need to be adhered to. Liaise with the Financial Controller to forecast & control the weekly payroll and all other costs, in line with budget. Supervisor development, performance reviews, progression planning. Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Motivating, influencing and leading staff in a professional manner so that they fully understand expectations. Requirements: 3rd Level qualification in Hospitality. Minimum of 3 year's Senior Management/Operations experience in a 4/5* Hotel. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Proficient computer skills.
