What you need to know. You will work as an Automation Engineer and will work for our Medical Devices client in Galway. As the Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the building of automated equipment. Key duties & responsibilities: Design manufacturing processes to meet productivity and quality. Ensure high quality/compliance standards are in line with medical device standards. Provide technical support to production. Provide support to exiting processes and put in place permanent solutions to systems. Continuous communication and support to all stake holders to ensure the best engineering solutions are provided. Validation support. What are we looking for? Desirable: BEng in mechanical, manufacturing or related engineering discipline. 4-5 years’ experience preferably with some exposure to the medical device sector. Knowledge of solid works with a strong technical background and capability. PLC / Electrical System debugging. Knowledge of ISO and FDA Compliance and validation. Experience of laser, chemical cleaning and other medical device technologies is an advantage. Proven automation background. Knowledge of equipment and process validation.
