The development and design of user focused web sites that deliver the strategic goals for each project. The development and customisation of WordPress themes and plugins to extend functionality and create fully tailored solutions. Website maintenance and management. Website optimisation to ensure optimum user experience. Design of web and marketing graphics. Ongoing research and reporting on the latest web trends and practices, leading to the implementation of appropriate innovations. Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript/JQuery and Responsive Frameworks. Comprehensive knowledge of WordPress functionality and customisation. Solid understanding of UX & UI concepts and a proven track record of implementing best practice. Excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Understanding of usability guidelines and W3C AAA accessibility standards. Familiarity with basic PHP structure / syntax. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent project management & planning skills. Experience Required: 3-4 years web design experience.
