R&D Analyst – Sligo. We are currently hiring an R&D Analyst for a fast paced, diverse, dynamic team environment within the medical device manufacturing sector. You will work as part of the R&D Department, reporting to the Product Development Manager. Responsibilities of the role: Extensive laboratory testing. Comprehensive comparative testing of materials and finished products. Updating standard test methods and devising new test methods. Protocol development and stability testing. Participation in trial work which may involve new material evaluation and/or prototype development. Organising and summarising data and reporting results in a scientific manner. Perform a varied range of duties in accordance with current GMP / GLP regulations. The successful candidate will gain extensive industrial experience and training and will be expected to work in a flexible environment. The ability to work unsupervised and to follow a logical work programme is therefore vital. Requirements: Bachelor of Science primary degree in chemistry or a related science subject. Ideally applicants should have 4+ years’ experience in a regulated medical device environment including Industrial laboratory experience. Applicants should be self-motivated with a genuine interest in new product development and research.
