What you need to know. You will work as an Operational Excellence Engineer and will work for our medical device client based in Galway . This is a permanent opportunity with excellent opportunities for career progression. You will work as part of the project team to improve Operational Excellence. You will be actively involved in the introduction of the elements and tools that make up the Operational Excellence system. Salary and package is negotiable for the right candidate and dependent on experience. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Participate in operational excellent projects having a hand’s on approach. Improve operational excellence with the use of Lean Tools/Principles. Be a change agent in the introduction of operational excellent and sustain improvements. Review lean training material, maintain and develop. Guide on areas of opportunity. Coaching and mentoring in lean principles across the company. Work on strategic initiatives around lean to drive improvements. What are we looking for? Desirable: Third level degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent. Degree/Diploma in Lean/6 Sigma. Operational knowledge of the medical devices sector with 3-5 years’ in manufacturing. 4-5 years’ experience in operational excellence with knowledge of lean tool deployment.
