Our Client based in Sligo is seeking to recruit temporary Medical Device Production Operatives for immediate start. Capable of supporting equipment and ensures that machine is operated in a safe manner in accordance with SOP. Ensures the quality of the products produced by inspecting parts visually and through measuring devices; records measurement information and alerts Team Leader of any deviations from the part specification. Packages the product according to customer specification according to proper procedure and specifications; Places finished product in correct location. Completes machine report on a daily basis; records area counts, product order scrap, machine cycle time and daily production output/yield/cycle times. Proficient PC skills for data entry into a computer. Checks part counts by weighing them; able to set scale and verify scale accuracy. Ensures that the correct raw materials are being used at each molding machine; ensures raw material is staged/ready for next product run. Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping, GMP and knowledge of 5S/6S would be of benefit. Performs additional duties at the request of the direct Team Leader. Maintains methods/procedures and all supporting documentation to meet the requirements of Quality Systems ISO9001:2000 / ISO 13485. Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Must have previous experience working in a controlled clean room environment and willing to work within one. E.G. Wearing gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment. Must be willing to work on shift. Have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Basic knowledge and understanding of computers. Adhere to SOP’s and understanding of compliance to a Quality system.
