Description

The NPI Planner will support Purchasing, Planning & Logistics activities and provide ongoing administrative, coordination and planning support within Supply Chain. They will work directly with Project Management, Operations, Purchasing & Supplier Management, Quality Assurance, Suppliers and Customers with a strong emphasis on customer service. Responsibilities: Administration of Purchase Requisitions for raw material and supply items. Tracking of Purchase Orders to ensure on-time delivery of items on order. Work directly with PSM on material supply. Generation of supplier delivery schedules for visual boards. Work directly with PSM and BPO on Blocked invoicing issues. Act as the main link between project management and supply chain. Planning of raw material and supply items to ensure inventory requirements are maintained and 100% material availability to support project timelines. Assist with Shop Floor Planning and production controls. Generation of material, production, shipping and inventory reports. Opening/Maintaining of all Project and Engineering Process Orders. Visual Scheduling and Continuous Improvement activity. Attendance at all relevant NPI Project Meetings both internally and externally. Assist with Shipping and Global trade compliance. Assist with Knowledge transfer at product commercialisation phase. Troubleshooting day to day supply chain issues which may impact on efficiencies, safety or quality. Education and Experience: Third Level Qualification in Business, supply chain or related discipline. Intimate knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel. Experience of Planning, Purchasing and Logistics is an advantage. Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment is an advantage. Strong Organisational and Planning skills. Capability to prioritize and multi-task. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High accuracy and strong attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills. Initiative and Innovation to generate and implement improvements.
