A specialized precision tools manufacturing organization is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design engineer with experience in tool design. The Role: Understand client briefs to get full scope of requirement. Utilize experience of tool design techniques to develop 2D& 3D designs and prototypes. Conduct analysis of customer product drawings to ensure fixture design provides sufficient access to datum features and CTQ dimensions. Carrying out Gauge R&R studies on metrology fixtures. Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-4 years’ experience in tool design. Experience with 2D & 3D design.
