What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a ManufacturingEngineer for a leading Medical Device company to be based in Galway. As the ManufacturingEngineer you will be responsible for manufacturing line products, processes, equipment, and documentation to meet quality, service and cost objectives for product development project targets. This is a contract position initially. You will have excellent opportunities for career progression within the company. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependent on experience. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Creation of component specifications and work with vendors to source. Set-up of Sub assembly specifications. Set-up of GTIN’s. Set-up of redline Operating procedures. Set-up of Device history Records. Initiate documentation such as PFMECA and Device master records. Support for Stability and Design verification builds and validations. Help with Transfer of sub-assemblies between sites. What are we looking for? Desirable: Level 8 degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline. 2-3 years’ experience with experience in equipment/process/product development ideally in a medical device industry. Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams. Good understanding of GDP in a highly regulated environment. Experienced with process/product development.
