What you need to know. You will work as a Senior Maintenance Technician and will work for our Pharmaceutical client based in the Co. Galway region. You will report to the Director of Engineering and have responsibility for the activities in relation to the operation and management of utilities, facilities and preventative maintenance as well as engineering related duties. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organization. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Schedule service on plant equipment and be responsible for documenting all work to a high standard, while adhering to the schedule. Assist in the rostering and direction of maintenance technicians work on a daily basis. Responsible for the setup, adjustments, maintenance and repair of equipment and related clean utilities. Carry out electrical service and mechanical installation. Manage inventory and order spare parts, consumables and services to ensure schedule is on track. Training staff on new processes and equipment as required. Ensure maintenance of access control systems on site is carried out. Compliance with companies EHS frameworks and provide training as required. What are we looking for? Desirable: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. 3-4 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment ideally with experience in medical devise or pharmaceuticals. Excellent electrical/mechanical/electronic aptitude with hands-on experience ideally in a pharmaceutical or medical device regulated environment. Cleanroom experience would be an advantage. Experience with boiler steam, heat exchangers, water filtration, pumps and AHU’s. Ability to resolve technical problems and work well within teams with excellent communication skills. Experience in troubleshooting automatic control systems. Experience of FDA, HPRA audits an advantage. Ability to react fast to changing production level and requirements.
