FINANCE ANALYST – SLIGO. We have an exciting new role for a Financial Analyst with in the medical manufacturing sector in Sligo. This role requires a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience ideally in Med Device, Pharmaceutical or Multinational manufacturing environment. Strong cost accounting/ management accounting background desired. Responsibilities. Prepare journal vouchers monthly to ensure accounts are accurate on a monthly basis. Provide input to plans/updates and LBE's for review by Plant Financial Controller and Site Director. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation’s. Review and Maintenance of all RCE’s. Manage and reconcile annual physical inventory. Ensure monthly accounts comply with all policies and procedures including Sarbanes – Oxley requirements. Provide Support to the Manufacturing Facility, participation in finance weekly meetings, and be aware of safety. Project Evaluation – involves the continuous update and review of projects so as to assist the Plant Manager and Plant Financial Controller in accurate decision-making. Technical Activities – Keep up to date on all accounting issues. Variance Analysis – review of monthly management accounts so as to identify any deviations from Plan or Update thereby enabling corrective action to be taken if necessary. Working with the Plant to ensure plans, updates and LBE’s are achieved. Project Management - ensure projects are running in line with expectations. Adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies. Competitive salary on offer.
