Our client in Sligo is seeking aopplications from suitably qualified candidates for a Program Manager role on a 12 momth contract initially. Job Description: Develop realistic cross functional program implementation plans for commercial supply of delivery devices with input from R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial. Develop program budgets and secure capital and expense funding as required. Coordinate site-wide efforts to execute program plans within approved budgets and timelines. Set project milestones and report progress accordingly. Consider alternative approaches and take corrective action as needed to ensure project milestones are achieved. Provide program management support for and guide the efforts of third-party organizations (vendors, suppliers, contractors, etc) to enable achievement of shared milestones. Fulfill management role in terms of: organizing project teams, facilitating communication between resources, guiding technical, financial, business and personnel conflict resolution and monitoring budget administration. Identify and implement opportunities that will improve our clients ability to implement and manufacture quality products in a cost effective, compliant, and timely manner. Interface with upper management in purchasing, finance, tax, legal and other key areas. Comments: Although this position has no direct reports, it requires a high-level performer with a broad perspective that is. capable of directing the activities of professional resources from many different areas of focus. The person must be able to push towards common goals in manufacturing across all divisions and gaining. consensus of many different areas. Requirements: Education: Degree in Engineering or related discipline. 7+ years of diversified business experience, including: operations support/quality at plant level for medical products and/or medical devices, supply chain, validations, capital and expense management, and commercial product launches. 1-2 years commercial and/or marketing exposure is desirable. High level of competence with all Microsoft packages including Project. The successful candidate should possess the following characteristics: 1.
