Our client, a start up technology company in Sligo, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager for three days per week. Job Description: Working alongside an innovative team, developing and running the financial function you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounts from day-to-day book-keeping to preparing monthly management accounts and forecasts. The financial systems need to be sufficiently agile to evolve with the needs of a growing business. Duties include: Accounts Payable. Accounts Receivable. Cashflow. Budgeting. Reporting. VAT returns. Auditing. Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Financial Systems. Requirements: CIMA / ACCA fully or part-qualified or similar qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business required. 3 - 4 years commercial experience post-qualification. Experience working in a start-up environment beneficial. Attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving. A self-starter with proven ability to work independently. Comfortable with full transparency in the working environment with daily reporting. Proven ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and demonstrable professionalism when dealing with suppliers and customers. Track record of implementing financial systems & processes.
