Technical Sales Engineer. Galway, Mayo, Cligo, Donegla, Leitrim, Roscommon. Working with a market leading company who are actively looking for a Sales Engineer to cover the West region. Duties include:• Look after existing customers. • Generate new business from existing customers. Develop new customers from all our market sectors and sell to them. • Be able to sell all product range. Laser, Inkjet, Outer Case Coders, Thermal Transfer Printers. • On site demonstrations and trials are a must. They will help the candidate sell machines easily and we would expect demos to be carried out weekly.• At least one day (Friday) is to be spent in the office per week, completing that weeks work and preparing for the next week• Neatness, Tidiness’ Cleanliness and Dress must be good at all times.• Liaise/work closely and efficiently with all your company colleagues.• Completion of paperwork for Quotes, Acknowledgements, Letters, weekly Expenses etc.• Complete the company CRM during the customer visits is a must.• Submitting visit schedules a week in advance. (approx 16 calls incl 3 new customers per week) • Sales training, support and equipment will be provided for your use. Skills and Experience• Have a third level education.• Have sold into the Pharma industry.• Must be customer focused and believe that the customer is always right and look after the customer issues and concerns with courtesy and skill.• The candidate must be confident but not over bearing.• Must be a self starter and be able to work on own initiative. Be exciting and bring lots of energy to the company and the job.• Computer Skills are paramount. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Databases etc. Salary DOE, commission, expenses, company vehicle.
