We currently have an Internship to offer a Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. The experience gained will include working alongside a team of Wind Power Engineers to provide support and maintenance of Wind Farms nationwide. Skills Gained will include: Develop knowledge of fundamental wind turbine technology. Assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance of wind turbines. Basic problem solving (both team & individual. Clear diagnosis of mechanical/electrical errors. Identification & ordering of spare parts. Develop an understanding of the SCADA system. Climbing and working at heights on a frequent basis. Work closely with Senior Engineers within the Wind Farm sector and with customers. Compile work reports. Ensure safe work practices and procedures. Skills & Requirements: Relevant Engineering Qualification. Strong interest in Renewable energy and Wind Turbine Technology. Strong interest in electrical problem solving. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel. Good reporting abilities. Comfortable working on multiple issues at the same time. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Requirement to work away meaning overnights. Confidence to work at heights. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to work within a team.
