Project Engineer. I am currently recruiting Project Engineer for one of my Pharmaceutical clients in Sligo. This role will be working within the Engineering Function to develop a culture of accountability, empowerment, continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration, involvement and development of oneself within the Site. They will be driving continuous improvement, Supporting communication and material flow between the Engineering Function and the Value Streams and Providing support to the Engineering Lead. Duties for Project Engineer. Provide technical and engineering expertise to support new equipment and process introduction, changes to existing equipment and processes. Manage Engineering Change Controls in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements. Person must ensure all projects comply to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and GES standards. At all times this person needs to reflect the Sligo site goals of cost competitiveness, working to ensure world class NPI capability and helping to drive step change in OEE performance. Monitoring outside ESPs when on-site, recording/copying licenses, permits and Safe Pass cards etc, and ensuring all ESP practices are safety and quality compliant. Keeping up to date with modern practices in the area of projects and Good Manufacturing Practice. Ensure all site drawings are to required standard. Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOP’s, EHS standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements. Identify cost effective engineering solutions to eliminate short stops and enhance equipment effectiveness. Requirements. Level 8 or Level 9 in an Engineering discipline. Minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering role within a Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / GMP environment. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Autocad.
