Our client a healthcare organisation in Sligo requires a part-time HR Manager for their business. PURPOSE: The Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing and providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling within a unionised environment. SCOPE: The Human Resource Manager provides advice and assistance to managers, supervisors and staff. This may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance reviews, absenteeism levels and personnel policies. To review all current policies and procedures, update where applicable and advise on new approaches to HRM implementation. The position will coordinate the staff recruitment process. The Human Resource Manager provides advice and support to supervisors and staff selection committees and ensures that they have accurate and timely information in order to make effective decisions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff. Monitor staff performance and attendance activities. Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff. Provide information and assistance to staff, supervisors and Board on human resource and work related issu. Perform other related duties as required. Knowledge.
