Our client a technology company based in the North West of Ireland require a Director of Marketing for its expanding business. This role requires awareness to make the company brand the number 1 brand in market sectors. Creating joined up marketing programmes through digital and traditional media, events and hospitality. As the global footprint increases the Head of Marketing is responsible for transforming the way the company communicate and engage with their clients – especially through digital media. An in depth knowledge of current and future digital marketing tools is essential along with the ability to lead change through the organisation and channel partners. Use a combination of innovation, creative thinking, and controlled, structured delivery to help direct sales teams with marketing tools, collateral, and most importantly qualified leads to help drive growth through better client engagement and improved brand perception in target markets. As a member of the Management Team strategise how the marketing function in conjunction with the rest of the organisation can help drive aggressive growth targets. Key accountabilities for this role are: Enterprise Marketing strategy. Accountable for the marketing strategy, plan and budget based on Advisory Board, Management Team, local team input, and commercial imperatives. Developing and implementing a world class digital communications and lead generation strategy, in partnership with the Sales (Direct and Online) Team. Responsible for delivering the channel marketing plan to support direct sales with compelling, clear sales enablement. Working closely with the brand team to secure appropriate resources and budget to drive ATL campaigns. Go to Market and Marketing Campaigns. Responsible for building and communicating clear go to market plan, including events, ATL, BTL, online and demand generation activities to drive proposition sales and performance. Ensure campaigns are driven through segment appropriate channels, including Social Media to achieve desired results. Work collaboratively with the Sales team to build targeted go-to-market plans. Responsible for building targeted marketing plans, including for key verticals (e.g. health, Government, Pharmaceutical. Brand Positioning. Working closely with our Sales Team, Product and Innovation Group, PR partner and Management Team to define and deliver our thought leadership agenda. Define and activate our brand positioning, including building out our Partner Programme and End-Client propositions. Drive brand awareness and engagement. Establish CXO level engagement programmes on a range of thought leadership topics. Events Management. Delivering a high quality events programme, across internal, external and 3rd party events. Corporate customer experience and engagement programme and budgets. Help structure and deliver workshops that allow our clients experience our products and influence their buying decisions. Drive commercial return and lead generation. NPS Programme Management. Work with the Product and Innovation manager to define and drive the Enterprise NPS programme to enhance our customer experience across all segments. Public Relations. Develop and manage a comprehensive PR strategy. Identify relevant key speaking opportunities for Personnel and ensure speakers are fully prepared to represent our Thought Leadership Agenda. Develop relationships with relevant business and technology groups. Lead and Demand Generation. Agree with the sales team what the Value Proposition is in various market sectors – providing common messaging across the organisation at initial touch points in the client and partner engagement. Responsible for driving sales qualified leads from marketing programmes (to clients and partners) and activation to drive revenue (€) and ROI. Manage the demand generation across all channels including online and call centres. Skills & Attributes: Third level qualification, in a business related discipline. Track record of delivery of diverse projects across multiple business functions such as IT, Sales and Networks. Business acumen and excellent problem solving ability, looks for ways to overcome blocks and implement solutions. Ability to build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders. Expected to have 15+ years of experience in technology industries and/or professional services. Highly commercial – good commercial understanding and judgement in creating value from customers and making value trade-offs. Strong personal impact and ability to demonstrate leadership with commercial leaders. Ability to communicate complexity in simple ways. Track record of delivering innovative large business marketing campaigns and compelling propositions. Online/digital marketing campaigning, including SEO, search and customer engagement. Experience in Strategy, Planning & Marketing experience across a range of markets including B2B. B2C or B2B2C. Passionate about Enterprise - strategies, sector understanding, segment propositions, competitor activity, value chain and market drivers. People management experience.
